Graanul Invest’s Imavere and Ebavere pellet plants are applying for SBP certification

Graanul Invest AS Imavere plant and Ebavere Graanul OÜ plant are moving towards SBP certification. The first evaluation audits are expected to take place in December 2016. The assessment will be carried out by NEPCon Estonia, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Graanul Invest is active in the fields of forestry, development of bioenergy and production of renewable energy. It is the biggest producer of wood pellets in Europe, which operates 11 large and modern pellet factories, two sales organisations, four combined heat and power plants (CHP plants) and three companies engaged in forest management and harvesting. AS Graanul Invest employs 501 persons.
