Inflor acquires control over ISG

Inflor, a market leader in systems for forestry management, has acquired complete control over ISG Consultoria e Sistemas, a company focusing on developing solutions for social investment management.

The company has been a shareholder of ISG, with a shareholding of 40%, since 2008. From now on, its shareholding will be 100%.
Carlos Albuquerque, Commercial Director of Inflor, highlights that the acquisition includes the integration of both companies’ processes. At first, the management and processes of these two companies were independent, but they have gained synergy over time.

“The management of social investments, including control, analysis and measurement of results, is in line with the other products of Inflor since forestry companies, our main clients, generally hold certifications requiring relationship transparency and traceability. And this entails specific projects and a relationship with stakeholders”, Albuquerque notes.

He also explains that the change in the company’s control will not affect Customer Services, except for benefitting the synergy and improve the services quality. The transition is being performed gradually and the clients are being contacted in order to adjust the contracts.
