Jemi Fibre Corp. has entered into a 10 year log supply agreement with Canadian Forest Products Ltd. for timber harvested from Jemi Fibre's 136,000 acres of private timberlands in the Kootenay Region of British Columbia. Timber species supplied pursuant to this contract will be primarily Spruce, Pine and Douglas fir, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Jemi Fibre is a British Columbia based forest products company. Jemi Fibre's operations consist of a full service contract logging division, with operations in Mackenzie and Cranbrook, a sawmill located in Edgewater producing high value lumber products, a wood preserving facility in Cranbrook and private timberlands located in the Kootenay Region.
