Kährs Group's 3Q 2017 net sales amounted to SEK 729 million ($86.5 million), an increase of SEK 21 million ($2.5 million), or 3%, compared with the 3Q 2016. Consolidated profit for the 3Q 2017 was SEK -20 million ($2.4 million), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

3Q 2017 operating EBITA totalled SEK 63 million ($7.5 million), corresponding to an operating margin of 8.6% and an increase of 7%. This improvement can be explained by higher sales, a stable operating margin trend, and good control over its cost base.

President and CEO Christer Persson comments: “The Kährs Group continued to show stable sales growth in the 3Q 2017 at 3%. The resilient flooring segment demonstrated the strongest sales growth, followed by the Nordics segment, while the development for Other Markets was below the previous year.”

Kährs Group's net sales during the January to September period amounted to SEK 2,303 million ($273 million), an increase of 7%, compared with the corresponding period in 2016.

In January-September 2017, operating EBITA rose 20%, compared with the same period in 2016 and totalled SEK 207 million ($24.6 million), corresponding to an operating margin of 9%. Consolidated profit for January – September 2017 was SEK 60 million ($7.1 million), compared to SEK 89 million ($10.6 million) in January – September 2016.
