LignaTerra to build $30 million cross-laminated timber plant in Maine

LignaTerra will build a $30 million Cross-laminated timber (CLT) and other mass timber products plant in Millinocket (ME, United States). The company will open its new facility at the mill site owned by Our Katahdin, Inc. The move is slated to bring over 100 direct jobs. Company plans to start production within 12 months. The plant will generate 10 million board feet of the timber the first year, 2019, and 50 million feet by the fifth.
