Mac Papers opens new distribution center in Antioch, Tennessee

Mac Papers has opened its new distribution center in Antioch, Tennessee, which houses nearly 120,000 square feet of retail, office and warehouse space. The distribution center will house 30 employees, including Mac Papers’ local management, a local sales team, customer service, warehouse operations and drivers, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The new facility more than doubles the size of the company’s inventory capacity in the market. The building includes approximately 107,000 square feet will be warehouse space, enabling Mac Papers to stock a deeper inventory of the company’s paper and print, packaging, facility supplies and office products business and offer same-day or next-day delivery on a wider range of products to Nashville businesses. The facility’s new retail store offers a range of cut-size papers for laser, digital and inkjet copiers, wide-format and graphics supplies, and packaging materials.

“When Mac Papers expanded to Nashville four years ago, we made a long-term commitment to invest in deep inventory, hire a local sales and management team, and deliver the same value that the company has delivered to the rest of the Southeast for more than 50 years now,” said Sutton McGehee, chairman and CEO of Mac Papers.

The new facility combines employees that previously worked in three separate facilities across the Nashville area. Following the opening, Mac Papers closed its two former distribution centers.
