Raute Corporation’s 1Q 2017 net sales of Euro 36.6 million, were up 38% on the 1Q 2016 (Euro 26.4 million). Growth in net sales resulted from a strong order book and its timing, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

1Q 2017 operating profit was Euro 2.7 million positive and accounted for 7.3% of net sales. The clear growth in operating profit stemmed from growth in net sales and the successful completion of deliveries as predicted.

The result before taxes for the reporting period was Euro 2.9 million positive. The result for the reporting period was Euro 2.1 million positive. Earnings per share (undiluted) were Euro 0.50.

During the 1Q, the order intake, Euro 24 million, was at a good level. Of the new orders, 52% came from Europe, 19% from North America, 18% from Russia, 10% from South America and 1% from Asia-Pacific. Sometimes even strong fluctuations in the distribution of new orders between the various market areas are typical for project-focused business. Order intake in technology services amounted to Euro 10 million, increasing 3% on the comparison period.
