RemaSawco has received an order from Callans Trä AB comprising an upgrade of their dry sorter, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The order value is SEK 4.7 million ($509,000) and includes an installation of a complete RS-BoardScannerQ system for quality sorting of boards and adaptations/upgrades to the existing ProSort control system. The delivery will be performed in cooperation with Renholmen AB, who is responsible for the mechanical rebuild. The order was signed in the 3Q and will be delivered at the end of 2016.
”This is an important order for us and another success for our RS-BoardScannerQ product,” says Peter Johansson, Managing Director of Image Systems AB. “The product has been sold and commissioned to a large number of sawmills in the Swedish market place and also to Norway, the Baltic states, USA and Russia”.

Callans Trä AB produces high quality rough sawn wood from Spruce (White Wood) and Pine (Red Wood).
