Production in Rottneros' Vallvik market pulp mill in Sweden has been affected by an unplanned shutdown due to leakage within the recovery boiler. The problem is now resolved and production is back to normal, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The shutdown represents an estimated production loss of about 4,500 tonnes in the 2Q, corresponding to approximately 7.5% of mill’s planned production for the quarter and about 4.5% of the Group's total planned production for the quarter.
Rottneros is an independent producer of market pulp.
