Russian Shalakushsky timber mill (owned by Titan group of companies, Arkhangelsk region) reported sawing up 3% to 52,5 thousand cub m within 5 months in 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, Titan corporate communications spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. Sawn timber production increased 3% to 26,8 thousand cub m, wooden chips – up 7,3% to 13,2 thousand cub m. Sawn timber production was 3,6 thousand cub m, wooden chips – 2,1 thousand cub m.
