Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 17% in May

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2017 was worth Euro 4.2 million, which is almost 23% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased pulpwood was lower by 4%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by 24%, of wood fuel by almost 34% and of other industrial roundwood by about 40%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2017 was almost 17% lower than in May 2016, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased pulpwood was lower by about 4%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by about 18%, of other industrial roundwood by almost 21% and of wood fuel by almost 33%.
