Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in October 2017 was worth Euro 4.6 million, which is almost 8% more than in the previous month (mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 3%, of pulpwood by more than 9%, of other industrial roundwood by 80% and of wood fuel by almost 192%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in October 2017 was almost 30% lower than in October 2016, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 33% and of pulpwood by about 22%, while the values of purchased other industrial roundwood and of wood fuel were higher than a year ago (by about 28% and 2%, respectively).
