Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2019 was worth Euro 4.9 million, which is about 12% less than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 13%, of wood fuel by more than 23% and of pulpwood by about 5%. On the other hand, the value of purchased other industrial roundwood was about 11% higher than in the previous month.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2019 was almost 51% higher than in February 2018, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 29%, of pulpwood by 152%, of other industrial roundwood by about 148% and of wood fuel by about 165%.
