Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood increased by 11% in November

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in November 2016 was worth Euro 5.7 million, which is about 13% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 16% and of pulpwood by 1%. The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was higher by about 7%, and of wood fuel by almost 43%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in November 2016 was almost 11% higher than in November 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 13%, of pulpwood by about 11% and of wood fuel by about 6%, while the value of other industrial roundwood was lower (by about 41%).
