Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood rose 17% in May

Slovenia'svalue of roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2016 was Euro 5 million, which is about 12% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 15% and of wood fuel by about 14%. The value of purchased pulpwood was higher by about 5% and of other industrial roundwood by about 60%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in May 2016 was about 17% higher than in May 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 32%, while the value of purchased pulpwood was lower by about 10%, of other industrial roundwood by 2% and of wood fuel by about 50%.
