The Belgian Timber Importers Federation set to join Fedustria

The Belgian Timber Importers Federation (BFHI) is in talks to join Fedustria, the Belgian Federation of the Textile, Wood and Furniture Industries, as the European Timber Trade Federation says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

BFHI General Secretary Bart de Turck said the move would make it part of an organisation with more resources and networking opportunities and potentially, save members money.

“Fedustria represents industries with 2,000 businesses, and combined turnover of Euro 10.3 billion,” said Mr de Turck. He added that BFHI would be an industry section within Fedustria and remain in the European Timber Trade Federation.
