The first INVO®Jet, installed summer 2009, improved the overall performance in Coater station №2 to such a degree, that Korsnäs Frövi now has ordered the second INVO®Jet to be installed in coater station №3, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. The cleaning time by web breaks is reduced by 50 % from 30 minutes down to 15 minutes. Cleaning time by maintenance stops is substantially reduced. Time from blade on to coating is reduced from about 15 seconds to less than 3 seconds. Superintendent Anna-Karin Sinclair at Korsnäs Frövi is very pleased with the overall performance of the INVO®Jet installed in KM5. The disturbances of the Jet and related losses is reduced to a minimum. The time from web break to coating is reduced to the half. The cleaning time by maintenance stops is substantially reduced.
