UPM Raflatac has recently achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for the slitting and sales of self-adhesive label stock distributed from its existing terminal in Tultitlan, Mexico. To achieve this certification, the facility implemented a quality management system conforming to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, which demonstrates a strong customer focus, consistent and reliable processes and a commitment to continuous improvement, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The certification of the Tultitlan facility is an extension of UPM Raflatac’s global, multi-site ISO 9001:2008 certificate, which covers the company’s factories in China, Brazil, Finland, France, Malaysia, Poland, the United Kingdom and the USA, as well as four other slitting and distribution terminals located in Australia, Spain and South Africa.
