USNR names Eric Brousseau as Vice President – Manufacturing

USNR names Eric Brousseau as Vice President – Manufacturing. He will be responsible for overseeing USNR’s global manufacturing operations, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at McGill University, Eric joined the Forano business in 1994 as a mechanical engineer. He was later promoted to be Forano’s Engineering Manager, which was the position he held at the time USNR acquired Forano in 2001. For the past 13 years, Eric has been the General Manager of USNR’s Plessisville operations where he has driven a program of continuous innovation and process improvement.

USNR operates four large manufacturing plants in the United States, Canada, and Sweden, in addition to more than a dozen regional engineering, service, and sales offices in North America and across Europe. USNR is best known around the world for providing endto-end solutions for sawmills and planer mills, including log lines, curve sawing gangs, edger lines, trim-sort-stack systems, dry kilns, and the optimization and control technologies that maximize the output and performance of that equipment.
