Shan will report to Steve Voorhees. She will join the company on February 29, 2016.
“Shan is an accomplished business leader who will bring additional manufacturing, technology and supply chain expertise to WestRock,” said Voorhees. “She will play an important role in the development of our company, including helping us reach our $1 billion synergy and performance improvement goal by the end of our fiscal 2018.”
Shan was most recently vice president of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company and general manager of its Marietta, Georgia, facility which designs, produces, modifies and maintains military aircraft for the United States and countries around the world. She also served concurrently as Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company vice president of business ethics. She had previously served in a variety of leadership roles at Lockheed Martin and Lucent Technologies.
