One of the main timber industry exhibitions of Russia "EXPODREV" will be held in Krasnoyarsk from September 21 to 23.

It is an effective platform for demonstrating the latest progressive standards of equipment for the logging, woodworking and furniture industries. Comfortable conditions have been created here to promote advanced manufacturing technologies to the market.

On September 21 and 22, the first international forum "Forests of Russia" will be held together with the exhibition. A series of round tables will be held within the framework of the forum,

dedicated to the issues of support and development of the timber industry, detection and elimination of forest fires, implementation of the federal project "Forest Conservation" of the national project "Ecology", digitalization of the forest industry, the contribution of forests to the climate agenda and

voluntary forest certification.

Representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation and Russian regions, the Ministry of Nature, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Roslekhoz, as well as specialists of the timber industry, scientists and employees of public organizations will take part. Delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, India and Belarus are expected to visit.

Additionally, the program includes a meeting of the government commission on the development of the forest complex and a meeting of the expert council

of the Committee on Natural Resources and Ecology of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Also, from September 20 to 22, the Russian championship among woodcutters "Lumberjack - 2022" will be held in Krasnoyarsk.
