In his new role, Ball will be responsible for more than 249 stores, component plants and specialty manufacturing facilities across the company's 30 state footprint.
"The stores, managers and associates in the field are the backbone of our company and I believe it's critical that there is a singular focus on helping the stores and associates achieve at the highest level," Ball said. "I also think it's important that I can look at best practices from store to store, area to area and regionally and implement the best ideas across the entire company to improve overall operational efficiency, sales and profit."
Ball began his career with 84 Lumber company in 1989 as a Manager Trainee at the company's Ripley, WV, store, and has served in a variety of positions including Manager, Area Manager and Divisional Vice President.
