The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Sw. Finansinspektionen)
approved and registered BillerudKorsnäs’ prospectus in connection with the
establishment of the company’s Swedish Medium Term Note program (MTN). The
program has a limit of SEK 5 billion ($777 million) and enables BillerudKorsnäs
to issue bonds on the Swedish market, as the company said in a press release
received by Lesprom Network.
“The program is a natural step to create flexilibity in our debt
portfolio and enable efficient funding”, says Susanne Lithander, CFO
BillerudKorsnäs.
BillerudKorsnäs offers packaging manufacturers and brand owners added
value in the form of brand-reinforcing, productivity-enhancing and environment-conserving
packaging solutions.
