Central National Gottesman Inc. (CNG) announced that its Lindenmeyr Munroe paper distribution division will acquire the business of St. Paul-based Independent Paper Group, LLC (IPG), further strengthening its sales and distribution presence in Minnesota. The transaction is expected to close June 16, 2017.

Central National Gottesman Inc. (CNG) announced that its Lindenmeyr Munroe paper distribution division will acquire the business of St. Paul-based Independent Paper Group, LLC (IPG), further strengthening its sales and distribution presence in Minnesota. The transaction is expected to close June 16, 2017, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

IPG specializes in a wide range of paper products for the commercial printer, including digital, wide-format and business imaging products. It is a division of Murnane Paper Company, headquartered in Elmhurst, Illinois.

"We believe we will continue to have many opportunities for Lindenmeyr Munroe to expand in the Midwest, both through organic growth and via acquisition," said Andrew Wallach, CNG President and CEO.
