Cherepovetsles forestry (Vologda region, Russia) and UPM Kymmene, Finland, have discussed a possibility of a wood-processing enterprise building in Vologda region, press-service of Cherepovetsles reported. Vice-president of UPM Kymmene representative office in Russia Arto Juvonen and its forestry director Juhani Hongisto visited Cherepovetsles on last week. A question of a further long-term strategic partnership was discussed on the meeting as well as a prospect of joint participation in the project of wood-processing enterprise building in Vologda region. UPM Kymmene is one of the Cherepovetsles forestry key partners. The companies have worked together for 7 years. Cherepovetsles supplies to its Finnish partner 80 thousand cubic meters of roundwood per year.
