Jun 03, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Clariant launches Leucophor® VHR liquid, new urea-free paper brightener with highest whiteness levels. The optical brightening agent (OBA) is the latest addition to Clariant’s innovative Leucophor range, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. Leucophor VHR is a urea-free, brilliant, high white OBA. Designed primarily for sizepress applications, Leucophor VHR gives state-of-the-art performance with ColorLok™ Technology in size-press applications to make ColorLok™ Paper. The OBA is listed in the European List of Notified Chemical Substances (ELINCS) and as such is considered already to be REACH-registered.
