The Dunapack Packaging Division, through Mosburger GmbH, has closed the purchase of ESK from Şişecam Group.
Cord Prinzhorn, CEO of family-owned Prinzhorn Group, commented on the acquisition: "Operating with a long term perspective is an integral part of our business strategy. With strong local management on board and state-of-the-art packaging technology at hand, we are confident to have built a solid basis for further growth in this important region."
ESK will operate in a separate legal entity and under the newly created Dunapack Türkiye brand. The legal status and branding of the three existing Dunapack Dentaş box plants remain unchanged.
The Eskişehir based corrugated packaging plant ESK has an annual sales volume of approx. 160 million m2 of corrugated packaging (80,000 tons). The company is specialized in shelf-ready, transportation- and storage-packaging.
