Glunz AG joines collective agreement with Employer Association for the Wood and Plastic Processing Industry

German Glunz AG has joined collective agreement with the Employer Association for the Wood and Plastic Processing Industry on 17 May, IG Metall announced. The workers at Nettgau OSB mill will get wages rise by 2% retroactively from 1 May 2016 and further 1.7% from 1 July 2017. The training allowances will be increased by Euro 20 will per month.

"This success was only possible to us by the strikes and the strong support of all employees," said Friedhelm Ahrens, the chief negotiator for the IG Metall. "The decisive factor was the possibility that we have acted in cooperation with colleagues in the Glunz plants in Nettgau and Beeskow."
