Since March 2017 Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill starts production of cardboard KTU VP for flat layers of corrugated cardboard with increased wet strength characteristics, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
This cardboard will be used in the production of corrugated boxes for the packaging of chilled and frozen poultry meat. The finished trays have passed all the tests and received positive feedbacks from customers.
Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, one of the largest European producers of paper-based products, is part of the Austrian company Pulp Mill Holding. In terms of total output, the facility is responsible for approximately 30% of all paper products manufacturing in Ukraine. Recycled paper is the main raw material used in production, and more than 1550 tons of recycled material is processed at the mill daily.
