The shareholders' meeting approved changes to the articles of association related to corporate governance issues. The number of Latvijas Finieris Executive Board members was increased from 5 to 6 – the new Executive Board member is Lignums mill director Maris Bumanis. He will be responsible for Product Development Council management, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The number of Supervisory Board members, however, was reduced from 4 to 3 due to retirement of Andris Pucens.
Supervisory Board will continue to work as follows: Uldis Bikis (Chairman), Juris Matvejs (Deputy Chairman) and Janis Staris (Board Member).
