Under the terms of the agreement, the new dealers will provide sales, parts and service for Logset harvesters and forwarders throughout their service territories.

Logset Oy signs agreements with two U.S. dealers

Finnish forestry machine manufacturer Logset Oy has signed significant distribution agreement with US-based Fabick CAT and US-based Milton CAT to market Logset products. Under the terms of the agreement, the new dealers will provide sales, parts and service for Logset harvesters and forwarders throughout their service territories, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The Fabick CAT territory includes the entire state of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, as well as major parts of Missouri and Illinois. The Milton CAT territory consists of New England and upstate New York. The initial shipment of machines is scheduled for June.

The Great Lakes Region and the Northeastern United States is a key market for Logset. The area has embraced the Scandinavian cut-to-length (CTL) method of logging, and both Fabick CAT and Milton CAT are leading suppliers of CTL solutions in their territories.
Logset machines will give Fabick CAT and Milton CAT technology leadership within CTL solutions, and further strengthen their positions as a full-line, full-service forestry solutions providers. Logset will ship middle sized and large forwarders, harvesters and harvester heads to U.S.
