Logset Oy and Brazilian Logset dealer Minusa Tratorpecas Ltda (Minusa) have renewed their dealership agreement in Brazil, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Minusa, who has been a Logset dealer since 2013, will continue working as a Logset dealer in the state of Santa Catarina located in Southern Brazil, as well as in other states excluding the states of Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul.
Minusa has focused on selling Logset harvester heads to different track-based machines. Logset’s TH harvester heads are well suited for the pine forest areas in southern Brazil. Harvester head Logset TH65 Euca, designed for eucalyptus trees, is also a good option for the Brazilian market. Minusa has a capable after sales department, and the customer satisfaction figures in Santa Catarina have been high.
The Expoforest exhibition in São Paulo in April will be the next project shared between Logset and Minusa. During the exhibition, Minusa will present the Case CX 130 and CX 180 base machines customized by Minusa to meet the challenges of the forest. The base machines will be equipped with Logset TH45 and TH65 harvester heads, featuring the Logset TOC-MD control system.
