The Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA) announces Shannon Burnett as Regional Director for the Eastern Building Material Dealers Association (EBMDA) and the Northeastern Young Lumber Executives (NYLE). Regional Director, Shannon will be responsible for servicing and expanding the membership of the EBMDA in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. Additionally, she will be responsible for the oversight of NYLE, which helps develop the future leaders of the LBM industry.
Shannon brings 11 years of experience in not-for-profit association management. During this time, she worked for the National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association where she was continually promoted to her most recent position, Senior Director of Membership. In this role, she developed and implemented an annual membership acquisition and retention campaign, provided services to members, prospects, and state associations, and worked with association staff to achieve successful programs.
