May 26, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Effective 1st June, 2014 Christof Reinhardt Maschinenbau will be part of the Paul Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG. The takeover-deal was cut in just four weeks, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

It was only in April that the company Christof Reinhardt Maschinenbau of Rottweil (Baden Württemberg) had to declare insolvency. Thanks to the constructive and efficient cooperation of all parties concerned the takeover of the long-established company could be successfully completed within a minimum of time.

Formerly competitors in the field of cross-cut saws and systems, Paul and Reinhard now bundle their expertise and know-how. Especially to be emphasized is the fact that the Reinhardt brand will be retained. Also the innovators of Reinhardt will remain in the company. Important for the Reinhardt staff will be the long-term location security. Except forthe components production which will be transferred to Paul of Dürmentingen due to their more modern machinery, the sales, design and assembly departments will remain as an extension at Rottweil-Neukirch.

Paul Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG will also meet justified warranty claims on a goodwill basis. Also the spare parts business will be carried on.

Since the company was founded in 1919, Christof Reinhardt Maschinenbau has developed machinery and systems for a variety of fields in the timber processing industry. Due to its early concentration to the solid wood sector, Reinhardt has become a leading manufacturer of cross-cut systems and automated handling equipment.

Paul Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1925 and is today one of the world’s leading manufacturers of woodworking machinery as well asmachinery and equipment forthe production of prestressed concrete and strand lifitng technology.
