Pfleiderer Group 1Q revenues increased by 2.5%

In the 1Q 2017, Pfleiderer Group revenues increased by 2.5% compared to the same period last year, to Euro 252 million. The share of high margin products with added-value in total sales was 67%, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Reported EBITDA reached Euro 30.8 million in the first three months of the year against Euro 20.4 million (+51%) in the same period last year which was down due to the extraordinary cost of the reIPO and the “ONE PFLEIDERER” project. On comparable basis sustainable EBITDA in 1Q, 2017 was Euro 33.9 million and exactly on the same level of previous year. Additional margin from volume growth has fully compensated price disadvantages.

Michael Wolff, President of the Pfleiderer Group said: “In the 1Q 2017, we reached a strong increase in sales volumes across all segments. Thanks to the investments made in 2016, the available capacities have been increased on our key production lines and now are almost fully-utilized. In the following periods, we will continue to concentrate our sales of value-added products, which share in revenue raised to 67% in the 1Q 2017. We are well on track to achieve our targets for 2017.”
