Pfleiderer Group launches new Euro 12 million lacquering line at its plant in Leutkirch, Germany

Pfleiderer Group launched a new lacquering line at its Leutkirch plant in Germany. The project amounted to Euro 12 million. The line will allow Pfleiderer Group to increase its production capacity and revenue, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

“Our purpose is to increase the Group’s revenue to the level of Euro 1.2 billion in 2021. We will be able to achieve this thanks to initiatives targeted at the increase in the production capacity concerning high margin products, such as the new lacquering line,” CEO Pfleiderer Group, Tom K. Schäbinger, said.

The new production line allows to use the innovative HotCoating system for production of high-margin Pfleiderer products. The technology is an uncontested market leader and the new lacquering line in the Company’s plant, 165 m long is currently the biggest lacquering line using the HotCoating system in the world.

The Pfleiderer Group is now a leading European producer of fiber-based products specializing in the production of materials in the furniture industry, the interior industry and construction. The Group manufactures standard particleboard, worktops, HPL laminates, artificial wallcovering and wood-based panels.
