Recard will supply Azur Papier with a new tissue production line at Azur's mill in Zriba, Tunisia. Currently, the mill operates one tissue machine, PM1, which has the capacity to produce 80 tons per day (tpd). The value of the order was not disclosed, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Recard's scope of supply includes a turnkey plant, with two virgin fiber stock preparation lines, a feeding unit, two rewinders and ancillary equipment. The new machine, PM2, will have a production capacity of 115 tpd, working speed of 1800 m/min, and a net sheet width of 2750 mm. Start-up is expected by the end of 2018.
