RemaSawco to upgrade log sorter at Gällö Timber AB in Sweden

RemaSawco to upgrade the log sorter at Gällö Timber ABThe order is for a comprehensive reconstruction of the log sorting unit. The order value is SEK 2 million ($250,000). Delivery and commissioning is scheduled for May of 2018, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The order comprises a new 3D scanner, new sorting and measurement system, a new operator chair and controls and the latest generation of optimisation software for log sorters.

The Gällö sawmill is located southeast of Östersund, Sweden. Gällö Timber is owned by Persson Invest and SCA.

RemaSawco is a modern, innovative and original company working within the sawmill industry. The products consist of sophisticated measurement techniques covering the entire process from log sorters to dry sorters and planers.
