Sep 17, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Roseburg Forest Products will curtail operations indefinitely at its particleboard plant in Vienna, Ga., USA, effective October 1. The company cited a prolonged downturn in wood products markets, as Random Lengths reported.
Officials will re-evaluate market conditions on a month-to-month basis to determine the feasibility of restarting the facility. Orders will be transferred to other composites facilities within the company. The Vienna plant has been in operation since 1970.
