Sep 18, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Rougier has been awarded a 270,000 hectare forest concession in the Central African Republic, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Awarded following an international tender process organized by the Central African Republic government, this concession, for a renewable 25-year period, covers the management and operation of a forest massif located in the Sangha-Mbaéré prefecture (southern Central African Republic) and made up of high value-added timber species such as Sapelli.

This acquisition will enable Rougier to develop new activities in the Central African Republic.
