Rougier's FY 2015 revenues up 4.4% to Euro 164.7 million

Feb 18, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Rougier is reporting Euro 164.7 million in consolidated revenues for 2015, up 4.4% from 2014. In the 4Q 2015, revenues came to Euro 42.3 million, down 14.6% compared with a particularly high 4Q in 2014, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The Rougier Africa International branch recorded Euro 141 million in revenues for 2015, an increase of 4.5% compared with 2014.

While 4Q sales (Euro 37.3 million) contracted 17% faced with a high basis for comparison, this was still a solid performance, 11% higher than the quarterly average for 2014.

During the year, product shipments from Cameroon and Congo were volatile as a result of the chronic difficulties with conventional shipments from Douala Port. In Gabon, full-year revenues are stable compared with the previous year.

The Import-Distribution France branch generated Euro 27.9 million in revenues for 2015, up 6.1% from 2014. Sales grew 12.1% in the 4Q, driven by the diversification and strengthening of Rougier Sylvaco Panneaux’s product ranges, in a French market that is picking up slightly, but still very competitive.

Rougier Group is a market leader for certified African tropical timber. The Group has three core business lines: Rougier Afrique International, Importing and distribution in France of timber from all origins and Plantations.
