Nov 13, 2003. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Cherepovetsles sends Volgo-Balt ship to Sweden, the last one in the current navigation period. The ship is now being loaded in the Belyi Ruchei port with birch and softwood timber, Cherepovetsles told Lesprom.ru.

Navigation in 2003 has been one of the most complicated in the recent years. Due to unfavourable weather conditions navigation was delayed 2 weeks in May (the first ship sailed on May, 15). In July in the middle of the busiest transportation period the Neva river-head water level declined in reducing the cargo-tonnage of the ships, company spokesperson said.
