SCG Paper and Valmet Corporation sign contract for modifying machine to
produce high value added products, Glassine Paper, the new interleaving paper
used in pressure sensitive labels, with the capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year,
as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
This investment has propelled SCG Paper to become the first company in
ASEAN to manufacture glassine paper, serving the increasing demands both
locally and regionally. The new production is expected to start by 4Q 2015.
SCG Paper is the largest producer of various paper products in Thailand.
