Schweighofer's new reloading point for pellets will start operation in May

Mar 31, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. At the beginning of May the new reloading point at the Schweighofer Fiber plant is going to start operation – with the help of a fully‐automated filling station, pellets can be pumped as required from the silo onto trucks by pellets dealers, the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The storage capacity in the newly adapted storage depot and in the silo totals roughly 1,000 tons. With the new facility, around 40,000 tons of pellets can be reloaded annually. The pellets are delivered by way of block trains from Schweighofer‘s sawmills.

A total of Euro 650,000 was invested in the new facility; for the time being, 3 new jobs have been created.
