Segezha Group’s revenues improved to RUB 33.4 billion ($513 million) in 2015

May 02, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Segezha Group’s revenues improved to RUB 33.4 billion ($513 million) in 2015. 4Q 2015 revenues increased by 20.6% to RUB 8.7 billion ($133.7 million), compared to RUB 7.2 billion ($110.7 million) in 4Q 2014, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Segezha Group reported strong growth in revenues and OIBDA in the 4Q 2015 and the full reporting year (based on management accounts of 2014), primarily due to increased sales in its core segments, as well as the strengthening of global currencies in relation to the Russian rouble.

The share of export sales in overall revenue amounted to 79% in 2015.

In the 4Q 2015, OIBDA continued to grow as a result of higher sales volumes, stronger energy efficiency, an increased share of high-margin products (namely paper and plywood) and exports in overall sales volumes.

In addition, Segezha managed to ramp up sales in its new markets of Asia and North America. Segezha’s OIBDA margin was 17.7% in the 4Q, up from 14.8% a year ago.

In 2015, Segezha’s OIBDA margin reached 20.4% compared to 13% in 2014 (based on management accounts).

Segezha Group is a Russian wood processing group. The holding includes both Russian and European timber enterprises, woodwork facilities, pulp and paper industries, and paper packaging producers.
