Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 16% in July

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in July 2018 was worth Euro 4.3 million, which is about 18% less than in the previous month, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 20%, of pulpwood by almost 16% and of other industrial roundwood by about 4%. On the other hand, the value of wood fuel was higher by almost 20%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in July 2018 was about 16% lower than in July 2017, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 26% and of other industrial roundwood by about 1%, while the values of purchased wood fuel and pulpwood were higher than a year ago (by 104% and by almost 35%, respectively).
