Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2018 was worth Euro 6.2 million, which is about 55% more than in the previous month, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 56%, of wood fuel by more than 62%, of pulpwood by about 48% and of other industrial roundwood by about 41%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2018 was 15% higher than in April 2017, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by more than 10%, of wood fuel by almost 75% and of pulpwood by about 45%. On the other hand, the value of purchased other industrial roundwood was by almost 38% lower than in the same month last year.
