Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood increased by 9% in June

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in June 2017 was worth Euro 4.3 million, which is about 3% more than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs, and of wood fuel were higher by about 5% and 17%, respectively, while the values of purchased pulpwood and of other industrial roundwood were lower by about 1% and 26%, respectively.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in June 2017 was almost 9% higher than in June 2016, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood. The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs, and of pulpwood were higher by about 9% and 20%, respectively.

The values of purchased other industrial roundwood, and of wood fuel were lower by about 9% and almost 10%, respectively.
