The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by about 11%, of pulpwood by about 5% and of wood fuel by almost 2%. On the other hand, the value of purchased other industrial roundwood was higher than in the previous month.
The total value of roundwood purchased in May 2015 was about 12% lower than in May 2014. Lower was the value of purchased pulpwood (by about 16%) and sawlogs and veneer logs (by almost 17%). The value of purchased wood fuel and other industrial roundwood was higher than in May 2014 (by about 58% and 4%, respectively).
