Smurfit Kappa announces the appointment of Jørgen Buhl Rasmussen to the Board as an independent non-executive Director with immediate effect.
In addition, non-executive Directors Thomas Brodin and Gary McGann have indicated to the Board they will not seek re-election at the Group’s AGM to be held on 5 May 2017 and will step down from the Board on that date.

Jørgen Buhl Rasmussen is Chairman of Novozymes AS, a biotechnology company and Chairman of Uhrenholt AS, a global food wholesaling company.
